Audio Engineer, Federal Way (Full-Time)

The Audio Engineer establishes the standard of excellence of worship and audio mix at every Christian Faith locations. This position interacts with full and part-time staff, Dream Team and other people or groups as assigned by the Creative Pastor and facilitates audio for services, events and recordings.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Mix rehearsals, sound checks, and services at various locations
  • Recruit and train volunteers to serve on audio team
  • Play and mix at weekend services at any location
  • Contribute to event planning and holiday service planning
  • Facilitate audio for services, conferences, and main events
  • Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to work in a high profile and high-stress environment
  • Willing and stamina to periodically carry a heavy workload
  • Periodic travel to and from off-site campuses and event locations
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Personal initiative and resourcefulness; ability to act and resolve needs independently
  • Able to deliver excellence with limited management direction

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage projects, tasks and prioritize workloads specific to recording projects
  • Communicate with staff and other team members
  • Available during non-business hours for emergency work
  • All other duties as assigned
