Assist Center Director, Mill Creek (Full-Time)
The Assist Center Director is responsible for supervising daily activities and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal child care requirements. This must be a qualified candidate with a degree in early childhood education or a related field and previous experience as a childcare teacher.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- Proven work experience in early childhood education.
- Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal child care legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of child development

- Pass a background check.
- Licensing Orientation, if applicable
- Minimum Age: 18.
- Hiring Education Requirement: 45 ECE credits (centers with 25+ children).
- Willingness to obtain certifications upon hiring (Child Care Basics, First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, WA ECE State Certificate (47 credits) within 5 years, 10-Hour Annual In-Service Training, Enhancing Quality of Early Learning, Leadership Practices, Food Handlers & Safe Sleep if applicable).

General Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with center facilities team members
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Develop curriculum based on specifications
- Provide necessary training to new employees
- Organize meetings with parents to address their child’s educational needs
- Observe teaching skills of teachers.
- Maintain student records in accordance with enrollment procedures.
- Ensure sufficient stocking and restocking of supplies.
- Maintain a positive relationship with regulatory bodies.
- Provide accounting with information needed for tuition billing.
