The Bible makes it clear that we who know God can be completely confident in all that we do. Proverbs 14:26 tells us, “In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence…”, and Proverbs 28:1 says, “…the righteous are bold as a lion.” These are just two of the many promises in scripture regarding confidence. You never have to wonder if God wants you to be timid or shy. He has said you’re already as bold as a lion, and His desire is that you live that way in all you do.
What challenges or situations are you going to face today that may try to steal confidence from you? Some you may know about ahead of time and some may come your way unexpectedly. Either way, you can set your mind on God’s promises and boldly move forward. God has already given you permission to live in strong confidence. Give yourself that same permission. You are a child of the Most High God! Nothing is going to come your way today that God and you can’t handle. Be confident that He is with you and will bring you through anything and everything you face!
