We all have to deal with challenges and difficulties on a regular basis.  Although the challenges we face are often similar to those faced by many others, we can clearly see that some people grow stronger and better through challenging times, while others grow weaker and bitter.  What is the reason for this?

I believe the key to how challenges affect our lives is the way we each go through them.  I recommend you make the following decision next time you face a challenging situation: Don’t go through this hard time alone!  Ask for God’s help as you encounter the rocky roads that are sure to come your way.  Allow God’s Word to strengthen you and God’s Spirit to guide you.  Also seek the support of people around you, calling on Christian friends or your church leaders to pray in agreement with you.  As you do this, you’ll find that the problems that used to bring you down will now become stepping stones to take you higher.

What problem are you facing today?  Find a promise from the Bible that relates to the problem and make it yours.  Grab hold of it like a bulldog and don’t let go!  God is faithful and if you’ll believe what He says, He’ll do what He has promised (see 1 Corinthians 10:13).  And if you need help finding Bible scriptures pertaining to a difficulty you’re facing, check out the book “God’s Word For Every Circumstance” in the CFC Bookstore.
