Why do some people have many great relationships while others can’t seem to find one friend?  Why are some so peaceful while others are constantly challenged with fear?  Why do some live a consistent example of godliness while others go back and forth in their commitment to God?  A big answer to these questions is that we all have a treasure on the inside that’s regularly coming out.

In the Bible Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things” (see Matthew 12:35).  What’s on the inside of us will eventually come out of us.  How do we change the treasure on the inside so we can have better results on the outside?  It starts with changing what’s going into us.  Just as an unhealthy plant needs good plant food and nutrients to restore it to health, we need to change what were taking in if we want to be healthier.  As we read the Bible and think on God’s principles and God’s ways, we are slowly but surely increasing the good wealth on the inside.

God loves us so much that He accepts us just as we are.  And He loves us so much that He’s enabled us to change if we want to.  With God’s help and your willingness, you can change your life.  It won’t happen overnight but it will happen.  God guarantees it!
